Centre d'interprétation historique de Sainte-Foy
Centre d'interprétation historique de Sainte-Foy
The Sainte-Foy Historic Interpretation Centre is housed in one of the oldest presbyteries in the country, and tells the story of 300 years of Sainte-Foy history. A visit to the permanent exhibition, using the latest interactive technology, allows visitors to follow the town's evolution through the testimonies of its citizens, as well as through documents retracing the history of the Quebec Bridge, the Battle of Sainte-Foy and many other themes linked to the Fideens' past. Visits to the Interpretation Centre are complemented by visits to the ruins of Notre-Dame de Sainte-Foy church, the bell tower used as an observation tower, the park and the Expo-théâtre's theater and exhibition halls. In summer, shows are presented on an outdoor stage.
