Église de Champlain
Église de Champlain
Since 2001, Champlain Church has been recognized by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications as a classified heritage building. Well lodged in the heart of the Champlain community, this temple preserves several decades of history within its walls. The heritage of the three churches that preceded it has been preserved, and is revealed through works of art and relics. They take you back in time to discover the customs and trades of the period. Champlain Church is open to the public all summer long, as are the other heritage sites on the Sacré circuit. An attendant greets you on site to point out the main elements of the site's religious, artistic and architectural heritage. Afterwards, you're free to explore the site and take a moment of contemplation, if you wish.
