Parc national de l'Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé boasts the largest sanctuary of migratory birds in North America. Colonies of sea birds, which bring together over 250,000 breeding birds from 11 different species. The world’s most spectacular and reachable colony of Northern gannets is found there. Four hiking trails are located in the Île Bonaventure sector, where you can revel in the beauty of the landscape. The park has a conservation mission: in addition to protecting the natural environment, it conserves and highlights a historic building from the 19th century.
