Site patrimonial L'Acadie

Montérégie
Historic site

Visit the Village historique de L'Acadie, a heritage site unique in Quebec, built following the deportation of the Acadians (1755) and their massive arrival on the shores of the Little Montreal River 250 years ago! Continue your walking tour to Parc des Ancêtres, where you'll see the Grande Odyssée monument. Perhaps you'll find the names of your ancestors there? There's also a large mural on the wall of the Napoléon Bourassa school, telling the story of the deportation and founding of the village called L'Acadie.
