Tourisme Îles de la Madeleine

Îles-de-la-Madeleine

When visitors arrive at the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, the impression is immediate; this is a complete change of scenery. The landscape is made up of islands and dunes that come together, fall apart and stretch beyond view on a blanket of water. The islands appear like a tiny country animated by the country green of its valleys, the blond sand of its long beaches, the red of its sculpted cliffs and the variety of blue and green from the ever-present ocean and lagoons, with a tint of colour from the sky and aquatic life. Winter come, a world of ice and snow makes way for extraordinary activities, like observation of baby seals and kite skiing.
