Located on the South Shore of Montreal, 20 minutes from the Champlain Bridge and about 30 km from the Canada-U.S. border, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu's strategic location makes it a regional hub for a multitude of commercial and tourism activities. This city, known as the hot-air balloon capital, is located on the banks of the Richelieu, making it an ideal spot for water sports. Several bicycle paths also stretch out over this area, where agritourism is also a sought-out activity.
