Admire the colours of the Upper Laurentians from above

Take advantage of the 80km of hiking trails to set out to the summit of Montagne du Diable in Ferme-Neuve. Once at the top, climb the steps of the 21m tower and enjoy a spectacular 360-degree view of the Upper Laurentians, even more beautiful decked out in fall colours. Starting from the Village des Bâtisseurs area, set out on a hike of just over 18km through the mountains, with an elevation of 430m. It’s a beautiful hike lasting 4 to 5 hours, depending on conditions. Set out early to make the most of it!

Events to make the most of fall

This September, kick off the fall season with two events.

On September 19, 2026, take part in the Festival des Couleurs for a day of hiking, outdoor activities, and entertainment in a festive atmosphere. This free, family-friendly event is a great opportunity to explore the park while admiring the fall colours.

Then, on September 26, 2026, trail runners can take on the Jackatrail challenge. With routes ranging from 5 to 65 km, the event takes runners along the iconic trails of Montagne du Diable, through colourful scenery, unique vistas, and untouched wilderness. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned runner, sign up for a memorable adventure.

Accessible outdoor experiences for all

Everyone can enjoy the great outdoors at Parc régional Montagne du Diable. Certified by Kéroul, the park offers a range of adaptive equipment for people with reduced mobility, including TRACKZion all-terrain wheelchairs, adaptive bikes, an adaptive paddle board, and stabilizers for watercraft.

The park also makes it possible to enjoy nature on any budget. Until October 31, 2026, get free access to the hiking and mountain biking trails through the Accès nature program when you book your day passes online. What’s more, admission is free year-round for visitors aged 18 and under.
