Don’t let its name scare you! Canyon des Portes de l’Enfer (hell’s gate canyon) is actually a natural paradise! You will be amazed by the 90-metre-high cliffs, the beautiful Grand Sault waterfall and the highest suspended footbridge in Quebec. This summer, let yourself be drawn into the world of the Légende du Boat maléfique (legend of the evil boat). This legend of an old log driver is brought to life in a spectacular nighttime journey with light shows and captivating soundtracks. The two-hour performance runs through July and August.

Fascinated by beluga whales? The Putep ‘t-awt observatory is the place for you! Cutting through the western flank of Gros-Cacouna Mountain, a two-kilometre trail with digital and interactive features will teach you about Wolastoqey Nation culture. You can also take an electric shuttle boat to the base of the mountain where the observatory is. Respecting the values and traditions of the Wolastoqey people, the observatory atop the mountain offers an immersive activity to learn more about the astonishing life of belugas and provides an enchanting place from which to watch them.
