Celebrate the final edition of the Festival des arts de Mascouche

An event for kids and families

The festival is designed especially with kids, families, and community members in mind, reflecting its commitment to keeping the arts alive.

During the event, visitors of all ages can let their imaginations run wild at face-painting stations and oversized drawing and colouring panels. Families can also take part in a freestyle pop art-inspired workshop using the materials provided or catch a live art demonstration by young artist MEG.

You can also take part in a variety of master classes throughout the weekend, including a workshop on how to photograph your artwork with your smartphone, where you’ll learn simple techniques for showcasing your work.

A guest artist with a vibrant universe

Hailing from the Saguenay region, painter Tanya Aubut is this year’s guest artist. Although still in her early thirties, she has already earned widespread recognition in the art world through gallery exhibitions and on social media.

A solo exhibition presented during the festival invites visitors to step into this artist’s visual universe, where street art, pop art, and mixed media come together in works that are both raw and evocative. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to discover Aubut’s work and admire her bold use of colour!

A diverse lineup of artists

In addition to the guest artist, the festival will feature an outstanding group of exhibitors, including 27 professional artists and 37 emerging artists from across Quebec. Visitors can explore works in a wide range of media, from oil and acrylic painting, drawing, pastel, and watercolour to mixed media, digital art, textile art, encaustic painting, photography, and a variety of printmaking techniques.

A favourite among artists, the festival is also a must for anyone who enjoys meeting artists in person and discovering new talent.
