Fall is an exquisite season that delights all the senses, especially when exploring the picturesque Memphrémagog region. The colours are breathtaking, the scenery is postcard-perfect, and the harvests are abundant. It’s the perfect time to stock up on produce at the market, pick cucurbits of all shapes and sizes, and celebrate the best of fall over a glass of wine or beer!

Get a ton of fresh, local produce

Located in the rolling hills of the Township of Potton, the Mansonville public market welcomes you every Saturday until Thanksgiving, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There, you’ll discover a wide variety of fresh produce from local farms, such as meats, fish, cheeses, ready-to-eat meals, maple syrup as well as handicrafts. Stop by the market café to enjoy a cappuccino with a delicious pastry.

Celebrate the grape harvest season with like-minded epicureans

From mid-September to mid-October, vineyards throughout the region take on a festive atmosphere during the grape harvest season. Wine connoisseurs and curious gourmets gather to enjoy an exceptional agritourism experience, take part in a guided tour with wine tasting, meet with winemakers, learn about winegrowing, discover a ton of local products and more. Make sure to take in the spectacular scenery during a walk or picnic among the vines!

Pick pumpkins and squash with the whole family

Marking the arrival of fall, squash and pumpkins are the stars of the show at Ferme Potagère, a perfect spot to go pick your own. Other fresh products are also on offer depending on the season, such as blueberries, grapes and honeyberries, as well as a wide variety of pork products and prepared dishes. Plus, visitors of all ages will be delighted to meet the laying hens and piglets on the site!

Raise your glass to fall at an enchanting festival

From September 12 to 14, 2025, head to Mont-Orford for the 9th edition of La Grande Coulée, Quebec’s only mountain beer festival. Between two local beer tastings, take a ride to the top of the mountain and soak up the spectacular view. This event features a festive atmosphere from the foot of the slopes to the summit, with live outdoor musical performances, a kids’ zone and, of course, microbreweries from across the province!
