Let the main show begin!

At 7:30 p.m., the grand concert begins and promises to be vibrant, evocative and emotionally charged. The highlight will be the performance of Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, From the New World, an iconic work inspired by the composer’s vision of the encounter between European musical traditions and American sounds. You’ll also hear Edvard Grieg’s masterful Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, evoking the atmosphere of the Nordic countries and mythical creatures. The concert also features Montréal Cirque, a new work by Montreal composer Ana Sokolović, created especially for the occasion, as well as Rêveries by Quebec composer Guillaume Couture.
