Between the fall festivities at Mont SUTTON, the colourful trails weaving through the mountains and valleys and the microbreweries where you can warm up while sipping a delicious beer, there is no shortage of ways to celebrate autumn in this region dotted with picturesque villages.

Five weekends of mountain festivities

From September 19 to October 18, 2026, the Mont SUTTON Fall Festival invites you to make the most of the beautiful weather before winter arrives. Over five weekends, enjoy the mountain any way you like, whether on bike, on foot, on a zipline or chairlift, by playing a round of disc-golf or camping at the summit. People of all ages are invited to be physically active and have fun in a setting alight with fall colours. And no need to leave Fido at home! Dogs are permitted on leash.

There will also be a Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route wine bar set up at the foot of the slopes. A great opportunity to discover the region’s wines during your outing!

Autumn hikes for every taste

With more than 100 kilometres of hiking trails to explore, Brome-Missisquoi offers a thousand and one ways to get some fresh air this fall. In Sutton, the four peaks and four mountain lakes provide plenty of variety, and the chalets, shelters and campsites give you the option to extend your visit. In Bromont, Parc des Sommets has routes that include mountains, forests, bodies of water and villages.

Families can introduce their young explorers to the joys of hiking on several easy trails in Sutton, Brome Lake and Frelighsburg, among other places.

A two-day brewery tour

While Farnham Ale & Lager charms with its wide selection of beers and pub-style menu, Le Sage Brasseur, in Cowansville, offers original creations in a setting that is just as one-of-a-kind: a former ambulance garage! Then, a twenty-minute drive away, discover Knowlton Co., which combines inventive beers with pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.

The next day, head to Sutton for a stop at Auberge Sutton Brouërie, known for its beers with a bold flavour profile. To complete the brewery tour, you’ll want to visit Brasserie Dunham and Beat & Betterave in Frelighsburg, two gourmet stops offering a wide variety of craft beers.
