Join the thousands of festival goers who get their fill of French music every year at the Francos de Montréal. This year’s 34th edition will take place from June 9 to 17 at the popular Quartier des spectacles, the heart of Montreal’s cultural scene. Since 1989, the Francos de Montréal has been a true celebration of Francophone artists. On top of spotlighting French music, the festival plays a vital role in promoting artists from all over the French-speaking world. This year’s edition is certainly no exception! The festival’s lineup includes more than 200 indoor and outdoor performances, showcasing the work of some one thousand composers, performers and musicians from a dozen or so countries. -M-, a pop artist with an explosive universe

Don’t miss -M-’s show, En rêvalité, on Thursday, June 8 at 8 p.m. at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts. Can’t make it that night? No worries! There will be a second show the following night at 8 p.m. The French artist, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has a truly unique and distinctive style. If you’re not already a fan, you’re sure to be dazzled by his performance at the Francos! -M- is one of the most decorated artists at the Victoires de la Musique awards, having earned 13 in total.

Marjo delights crowds with her greatest hits

Also on Friday, June 9 at 8 p.m., Marjo will wow audiences at Club Soda with her show, J’lâche pas. Celebrated for her energetic stage performances, this tender-hearted rocker and fan favourite in Quebec has a career spanning more than forty years. Marjo will be performing her greatest hits, from rock anthems to mellow ballads in what’s sure to be a memorable evening!

Isabelle Boulay combines her two passions

The next day, treat yourself to a performance by singer Isabelle Boulay, whose mesmerizing voice is adored by Quebecers. Her show will combine her two passions: country-folk and traditional French music. D’Amériques et de France will be presented on June 10 at 8 p.m. at Théâtre Maisonneuve at Place des Arts.
