Admire the colours of fall everywhere along the trail

Accessible with just a gentle incline, this trail lets you take your time to admire the scenery and enjoy the many viewpoints. Even if the weather forecast looks less than ideal, the experience is no less beautiful. In the rain, the foliage becomes more intense and glistens in a very special way, offering another perspective on the magic of fall in the Laurentians.

For a touch of thrills at the summit, venture onto the net suspended over the empty tower or choose to slide down the 53-metre Glissade des cimes ($) —the tallest slide of its kind in Canada.

The peak of fall colours lasts only a few weeks, so make the most of it and head up high to discover fall from every angle!

GOOD TO KNOW: The Sentier des cimes was designed according to universal accessibility principles and is accessible to strollers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. An elevator provides easy access to the start of the trail. Wheelchairs and walkers are also available to reserve and borrow free of charge.

So much on site to complete your visit

The experience doesn’t end once you come back down from the tower! Several other activities and discoveries await you during your visit. Kids and adults alike can have fun with the giant wooden games and the marble run, explore the forest trails leading to the old dam, or learn more about the history of the site at the small museum and on the audio-guided tour.

Add to that a break to eat on the terrace at Restaurant Chez Émile, which offers a view of the forest and gardens. Everything is in place for you to spend several hours on site and savour the season at a leisurely pace.

Choose the best moment to visit for you

If you enjoy strolling through autumn scenery in a more peaceful setting, weekdays are the perfect time to visit the Sentier des cimes Laurentides. From Monday through Friday, no reservations are required, and the smaller crowds allow you to enjoy the trail at your own pace.

Weekends, on the other hand, offer a livelier, more festive atmosphere, which is particularly popular with families and groups of friends. Music, outdoor fire pits, a cheerful mascot and all kinds of entertainment make for a true fall festival atmosphere. Since there are large crowds and space is limited, online ticket purchases are mandatory on Saturdays and Sundays. On busy days, a shuttle service is available from a park-and-ride lot. Arrive early to make the most of your visit!
