Summer brings fresh local flavours
For a pleasant and delicious break, stop at Perspective, a craft microbrewery in Saint-Liboire. In summer, its patio — one of the region’s nicest — is ideal for enjoying a sour fruit beer or a hoppy beer, or taking part in quiz night on Thursdays starting at 7 p.m.
Thanks to its “bring your own food” formula, why not gather all you need for a leisurely picnic? There is a playground for children to explore, and dogs are welcome, making this a great spot for all members of the family!
Two exhibitions to get your fill of culture
For its eighth edition, the Biennale d’art contemporain autochtone will be held in two unique locations in Saint-Hyacinthe, from June 6 to September 13, 2026. At EXPRESSION, Centre d’exposition de Saint-Hyacinthe, discover vibrant works of art celebrating women’s knowledge. Then, at the former Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire church, embark on a captivating circuit combining sculptures, paintings and video projections. Two exhibitions you won’t want to miss!
Then head outdoors! From June 20 to October 25, 2026, Jardin Daniel A. Séguin will be presenting Phytoresilience, an exhibition created in collaboration with EXPRESSION, Centre d”exposition de Saint-Hyacinthe, at its gardens. Artist Guillaume Saur will be celebrating the healing power of plants through a passion-filled artistic journey. Discover sculptures, photographs and plant works incorporated in nature. A greenery-filled, inspiring event.
An agricultural fair that will enchant the whole family
From July 23 to August 1, 2026, Expo agricole de Saint-Hyacinthe will turn the city into a field of discoveries and festivities to experience with family or friends. See more than 800 farm animals on-site, and take advantage of the immersive activities and entertainment during the day.
