The Ecomuseum Zoo, the one and only outdoor zoo on the island of Montréal, invites you to discover the great diversity of local animals, both the well-known and lesser-known! Mammals, reptiles, birds, fish and amphibians await you in a natural environment where they can feel right at home. Take advantage of Valentine’s Day, Spring Break and Easter to discover the secrets of Quebec’s wildlife.

How do animals love?

With 3, 2, 1... Seduction! and special Spring Break programming starting on Valentine’s Day, the whole family can talk about love. Do animals fall in love? Do they cuddle their babies? Do they whisper sweet nothings to each other? If you look carefully for the posters scattered around the Ecomuseum Zoo, you’ll find it easy to answer all the questions of the 3,2,1… Seduction quiz. And if your curiosity isn't satisfied, attend “Love is in the air”, an educational presentation given by the zoo experts. After all this, you’re sure to be well-versed in the love life of animals!

Easter, chocolate and the Ecomuseum Zoo!

Make the most of spring, and especially Easter weekend from April 18 to 21, to double the fun. Bring the whole family to meet the majestic animals of the Ecomuseum Zoo and you’ll get a little chocolate surprise! During the Easter long weekend, you’ll have plenty of time to observe the animals… but a special guest will also be there to meet you. The Easter Bunny himself will be on site, and he’s not coming empty-handed! He’ll be handing out tasty chocolate surprises to make your visit even more delicious!

See a new species at the zoo

For the very first time, the Ecomuseum Zoo will be welcoming a bobcat. This majestic feline is now part of the large family of Quebec wildlife living at the zoo. For this little newcomer, named Aria, the team has done everything possible to provide her with a habitat where she will feel at home. And since her arrival this past December, the beautiful Aria has certainly gotten used to her environment and is waiting for your visit. The zoo offers three observation points where you can stand and wait for Aria to peek out of her hiding place!
