For the office Christmas party last year, the Quebec Getaways team went over to Tag E-Karting & Amusement in Sainte-Thérèse on north of Montreal. This entertainment centre combines a bunch of activities in a single location, making it an ideal venue for a large group. We enjoyed our party so much that we wanted to share our highlights and impressions with you. We hope you'll be persuaded to try it out too!

Reactions from our team members

The flagship attraction, electric karting, and one of the newest additions, the Zero Latency VR virtual reality games, definitely blew us away! These activities gave us action, thrills and a high dose of adrenalin, and the experience was immersive and memorable. Here are some reactions from our team members:

"I loved my experience at Tag E-Karting. I thought it was a really nice place with a great, fun vibe. I'd never done any karting before, except once when I was very young, and I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. I had a lot of fun and was really glad to discover the Zero Latency virtual reality experience too. I'd do it again any time."

Marie-Anne, Project Manager – multimedia content creation

"I loved my first e-karting experience, full of fun, adrenalin and laughter! It’s a great activity to do as a group! I also liked that there was a multitude of activities offered at TAG E-Karting, a perfect place for evenings out with friends, colleagues or family members. "

Louise, Management Support Coordinator - Development and Services to Businesses and Members

"I absolutely LOVED the Zero Latency experience! I don't know anything about video games, and I was a little stressed out when I entered the arena, but in the end I really got into it! The 30 minutes went by so quickly, and it's accessible to everyone, which I really appreciated!"

"I was surprised at how smooth the electric karts felt to drive: nothing like what I’d experienced driving traditional karts. The two-storey track also makes it more interesting. I highly recommend taking two sessions, so you have a chance to improve your time after your first try! We also ended the party on a high note by trying out the arcades, including Dance Dance Revolution (DDR)!"

Melanie, Project Manager – Web Content

"This year's Christmas party was AMAZING. The only drawback was that it had to end! It was also a nice change from the more traditional Christmas parties (we have so many of those around this time of year). I laughed so much, and it was easy to try lots of different activities with different people. In short: it was great!"

Plan of day of fun – your way

In addition to electric karting and Zero Latency VR, Tag E-Karting & Amusement has bowling, du axe-throwing, a VR eSport arena, 7D interactive theater, laser tag, arcades and a next-generation racing simulator.

For a break between activities, or to round off the evening with a drink or a meal, head up to the resto-bar on the second floor. While you’re there, you can also check out the skill of the drivers on the karting track, which runs right next to it.

Would you like to experience it for yourself? Whether you're looking for a teambuilding activity, a family day of fun or a hangout with the gang, the Quebecgetaways.com team enthusiastically recommends the Tag E-Karting & Amusement experience!
