Open your eyes to the world of fashion photography

Until October 6, 2024, the McCord Stewart Museum's exhibition Portraits and Fashion - Quebec Photographers Beyond Borders highlights the exceptional work of 17 local photographers whose talent and vision are recognized internationally. In addition to fashion photos, some of which have appeared on the front pages of major magazines, a gallery presents about 100 portraits that embrace diversity and convey the emotions of each model with great sensitivity, from Céline Dion to Nelson Mandela, Elisapie and Mika as well as some anonymous faces. Audiovisual content also takes us behind the scenes of the photographers' artistic process.

New exhibitions are also coming this fall at the McCord Stewart Museum: Manasie Akpaliapik. Inuit Universe (October 4 to March 9) and Costume Balls - Dressing for History, 1870-1927 (opening November 14). Stay tuned!

Dive into a poetic universe
