Le Chemin de La Liseuse
Le Chemin de La Liseuse
A path for biking in the summer and skiing in the winter, Le Chemin de La Liseuse is a place to practise outdoor activities and learn a bit about poetry! Running along some of the most important places in Anne Hébert poems and novels, Le Chemin de La Liseuse follows the Jacques-Cartier River, where the painter and poet Saint-Denys Garneau lived. As close as possible to the source of their inspiration, four poems chosen for their evocative power mark out the route and invite visitors to discover their words, see the places they reference and meditate.
