Pow-Wow Trail

Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean
Indigenous experiences and cultures

The Pow-wow Trail is a series of vibrant events celebrating Indigenous cultures across Quebec during the summer. With over thirty participating communities, these festivities provide a unique opportunity to explore the rich and diverse traditions of the First Nations, ranging from urban and international shows like the Wendake International Pow-wow, which brings together participants from across the continent, to more intimate gatherings such as the Manawan Pow-wow. The Trail also includes major events like the Grand Gathering of the First Nations at Mashteuiatsh, the Innu Nikamu Music Festival, and the Indigenous Presence Festival in Montreal. Each pow-wow is an opportunity for sharing and exchange, where dance, colors, and music create unforgettable encounters. Participate in these festivities to immerse yourself in a summer of cultural discoveries and unforgettable experiences. Check the event calendar to make sure you don’t miss out!
