Rivière des Outaouai, between St-André-d’Argenteuil and Pointe-Fortune, have been navigated by several ferries since 1833. From the very first Ferry, which carried a few pedestrians until the ’”Anik” the actual ship that has a capacity of 10 automobiles, many ships and owners have taken up the role of providing river crossing services.
