Véloroute Marie-Hélène-Prémont
Véloroute Marie-Hélène-Prémont
Named after a prominent athlete of the region, Véloroute Marie-Hélène-Prémont covers 55 kilometres over a substantial portion of Côte-de-Beaupré. This cycling route runs through seven towns and municipalities of the region: Boischatel, L’Ange-Gardien, Château-Richer, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Beaupré, Saint-Joachim and Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges. The bicycle route is on a designated low-speed (50 km/h) road. It opens new vistas and gives the cyclist a new appreciation of the many charms of Avenue Royale, which is also justly referred to as Route de la Nouvelle-France. Combine nature, culture and sport as you enjoy a long ride that is an extension of the bicycle trail that starts at Chute Montmorency. It can end either at the Cap Tourmente wildlife reserve or at Mont-Saint-Anne, the mecca of mountain biking.
