Zec du Lac-Brébeuf is located in the region of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. This territory offers users the possibility of practising a wide range of activities. The main feature of the Zec du Lac-Brébeuf is its namesake lake, which stretches out over 12 km and includes many bays - the largest of which is the Baie de la Sauvagesse, at the northeasternmost point. This body of water is sourced from the Saint-Jean River and runs all the way to the Saguenay River.
