Chants de Vielles

The twenty-first edition of the Chants de Vielles festival will be held from June 27 to 29, 2025 in the magnificent village of Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu. A pre-festival workshop will be held from June 26 to 27, 2025. A veritable musical happening, this gathering of singers, musicians, dancers and curious onlookers is aimed at the general public and offers a unique experience on a human scale. In a friendly country setting, festival-goers have the opportunity to discover the musical diversity of traditional, folk and baroque songs and music, with a predominance of singing and string instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy. The festival features artists from Quebec and around the world. There will be activities for all ages, including young audiences.
