Contes en Îles

The Festival international Contes en Îles is held in the Magdalen Islands during the fall. Since its creation in 2002, the festival welcomes artists from all over the world, while presenting people from the archipelago and making place for the next generation. The mission of the organization is to "promote storytelling, oral tradition and heritage," so that this tradition is not lost. The artists go through the Islands to tell their world... to everyone! People from the Islands or elsewhere enjoyed being charmed by these magicians of words, on the enchanting archipelago.
