La Virée classique OSM

Initiated by Kent Nagano and the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (OSM) in 2012, The classical Spree OSM** is the largest urban classical music festival in Canada. It offers classical music enthusiasts, as well as curious citizens and tourists, the opportunity to experience an inspiring cultural event at the heart of the metropolis. The festival features a variety of affordable indoor concerts alongside a free and accessible program of nearly 100 concerts and activities. The classical Spree is a flagship cultural event in Montreal. It serves as a true catalyst for the local artistic scene, as evidenced by its decade of experience and commitment to its audience. For over 10 years, the festival has aimed to democratize classical music, making it accessible to the entire metropolitan community while fostering genuine connections between publics—both local and international—and world-class artists, all in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.
