Quai Paquet

Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, Quai Paquet is the ideal place to relax, have a picnic and cool off during the summer heat. This large riverside public square boasts over a hundred water jets, where little ones can play while their parents enjoy a break on one of the park's deckchairs. In the evening, Quai Paquet becomes the stage for a variety of entertaining summer events, including the Grands Feux Loto-Québec fireworks displays.

Parcours des Anses

This is one of the most beautiful bike paths in North America! The Parcours des Anses is a 15 km corridor along the majestic St. Lawrence River, with spectacular views of the fortifications of Quebec City, Île d'Orléans and the Montmorency Falls. In addition to cycling, this multifunctional trail is ideal for walking, running and in-line skating. And if you want a longer stroll or ride, you’ll be happy to know the Parcours des Anses connects to other bike paths such as the Parc de la Rivière-Etchemin, the Parcours Harlaka and even the Québec-Lévis river crossing.

Parc des Chutes-de-la-Chaudière

Home to breathtaking natural displays, Parc des Chutes-de-la-Chaudière pulls out the stops with its 35-metre-high waterfalls. The suspended footbridge offers a spectacular view of this thundering force of nature. There are also exceptional lookouts and views to be found along the park’s network of trails. The best time to appreciate the beauty of the landscape is certainly at the end of the day, when the last rays of sunlight illuminate the falls. All visitors have to do is walk down the stairs leading to the Chaudière River and settle down at the foot of the falls to savour this memorable experience!
