Two magnificent new sites to wow your inner child
Old Québec City will be more enchanting than ever thanks to the new antique toy cable car display at Place D'Youville. Overlooking the site from a height of 13 feet, the cable car features toys designed using 3D printing and painted by an artist, reproducing the collections found at the Musée de la civilisation. It's sure to delight the little ones, and bring back fond memories for the grown-ups!
On the site at Place d'Armes, reverie sets in with gift stories. These gigantic blue boxes set up in the Christmas kingdom have the words "open me" on them and an illustration. Scan the QR code to access a Christmas story written by a Quebec author especially for the German Christmas Market, highlighting the values of the holidays. These tales promise to entertain and provide food for thought!
A brand new, more welcoming set-up in front of city hall
The main site of the German Christmas Market, in front of city hall, has been redesigned to welcome visitors more efficiently. It has been thought out with pedestrians in mind, in an effort to reduce car traffic and allow better bus access, making it that much more pleasant to visit the market again or for the first time. This site also features the wonderful lit-up Christmas pyramid, with colours that are reminiscent of the Northern Lights!
