Go skiing on lit trails
Renowned for its wide variety of slopes, modern infrastructure and festive atmosphere, Bromont, montagne d’expériences, is also the largest lit ski area in North America. Skiing under the stars, by the light of the slopes, is a unique winter experience, where nighttime tranquillity blends with excitement. What's more, thanks to snow cannons and grooming operations, skiing conditions are optimal, day and night.
A whole program of festive events awaits you, from music concerts to après-ski parties. And during Nuits Blanches, more than a hundred trails on certain sides of the mountain are lit until 1 a.m., so that avid skiers can keep going long after the sun has set.
Enjoy an alpine skiing expedition
Looking for a sporting challenge? An alpine tour on skis or a splitboard is the perfect opportunity to push your limits. Head to Mont Sutton, a paradise of glades and natural snow, to begin your ascent at an altitude of over 500 metres. As you progress, your efforts will be rewarded by the wintry beauty of the landscape and the feeling of freedom. And when it’s time to head back down, expect to have your mind blown!
Before you set off, make sure you're well equipped (mountains usually have rental services on site), and exercise caution to ensure an oh-so-satisfying ascent and descent!

Explore trails on snowshoes
Hundreds of trails zigzag across the region's wild landscapes (the Parc d'environnement naturel de Sutton, Sentiers de l'Estrie and Au Diable Vert are just a few examples of places to find them). Put on your snowshoes – or crampons, if the trails are icy – and set off to discover exceptional natural environments.
At your own pace, let yourself be enveloped by the calm of the forest, keeping your eyes open for animal sightings and your ears open for birdsong. A snowshoe hike is the ideal way to experience a deep connection with nature!
