Wolverine at Parc Omega

A new furry resident

There’s a new member of the Parc Oméga family: a male wolverine! Found in boreal forests, mountainous regions, and the tundra, this powerful, solitary carnivore can travel vast distances in search of food. The presence of wolverines in the wild is also a sign of a healthy, thriving ecosystem.

The arrival of this wolverine also marks an important milestone in the park’s conservation and breeding efforts.

Be sure to meet this new resident and learn more about its habitat, daily life, and the challenges involved in protecting this species.

More than just a wildlife park

Beyond offering unforgettable experiences, Parc Oméga plays an active role in protecting North America’s wildlife and plantlife through the Parc Oméga Foundation, which supports initiatives to preserve natural habitats, protect threatened species, and promote environmental education.

Most recently, as part of Tree and Forest Month, the foundation distributed more than 900 trees to students and residents throughout the Montebello region, encouraging the community to take meaningful action for the environment.

🫎 Plan a day trip or an overnight getaway at Parc Oméga this summer to discover what’s new while supporting an organization committed to protecting biodiversity.
