The Garlic Festival organized by Marché Sainte-Anne returns on Saturday, August 24, much to the delight of local and visiting foodies. Taking place on Rue Lalonde from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the event invites you to discover garlic in all shapes and sizes, from bulbs to braids, as well as a variety of garlic products. While you’re there, take some time to explore the different stands and meet local vendors, producers and artisans. Get ready for a day bursting with flavours.

Bring on the family fun

Also taking place on Saturday, August 24, the Family Fun Day at the Montreal Aviation Museum (MAM) is the perfect opportunity to introduce your children to the captivating world of aeronautics and the fascinating history of aviation. The whole family will be delighted to explore the museum’s collection of aircraft, meticulously restored to their original condition. An awe-inspiring day awaits!

Learn about the local biodiversity

On September 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Rue Sainte-Anne will host Naturally Sainte-Anne, a celebration of nature that lets you explore the rich environment surrounding the town. Through creative workshops and hands-on activities, children will learn about the importance of protecting flora and fauna, while adults can explore the many stalls of the eco-friendly food market. Every Saturday until October 26, rain or shine, Marché Sainte-Anne, an outdoor farmers’ market, draws food lovers and shoppers alike to Parc Lalonde from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Meet local farmers and small-scale producers offering a wide variety of fruits and vegetables – many of which are certified organic. You’ll also find fresh eggs, handcrafted cheeses, baked goods and other homemade products. A true feast for the senses, held in the most charming of settings.
