Panoramic chalets
Parc Omega already offered a wide choice of whimsical accommodations, including chalets next to the wolf areas, pods, ready-to-camp units and nature chalets near fallow deer and white-tailed deer. The 14 new panoramic chalets have now been added to the on-site sleeping options and offer incomparable views of the magnificent scenery and the Valley of the Wolves, thanks to the brand-new lookout. These large, luminous chalets with their streamlined design are well-equipped and feature bay windows, so you can enjoy the surroundings and watch the animals in complete serenity.
Winter camping in a Wi-tent
What better way to immerse yourself in nature than to combine a visit to Parc Omega with a camping trip! Wi-tents with full bedding are available this winter for overnight stays on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays for up to 4 people. Indoor and outdoor wood-burning fireplaces add a warm, rustic touch to cozy evenings. Plus, unlimited firewood, snowshoe rentals on request and access to Parc Omega are included. The ideal option for a comfortable stay in nature that lets you spend more time close to the animals!
Dogsledding
You might be surprised to find out know that you can go on a dogsled ride at Parc Omega! Available when there's enough snow, this 20-minute activity is offered Thursday to Monday without reservation and lets you discover the trails in the company of magnificent huskies. You can choose to ride with a guide or take the reins and drive the sled yourself after a quick lesson. After your activity, thank your faithful four-legged companions and relax by the fire with a hot chocolate!
The arrival of wolverines
Wolverines have joined the Parc Omega family at Terre des Pionniers (sector 11). This is an extremely rare species in Canada, known for its agility and curiosity. These little explorers are ready to amaze you: observe them and learn more about these fascinating mustelids that play a key role in the northern ecosystem.
